Do you only do equal qty splits?

At the moment, yes, online orders are limited to equal splits. If you need uneven quantities, contact us and we’ll sort it manually while we work on improving this.

What does approved for print legally mean?

It means we print exactly what was approved.

Do you keep a record of approvals?

Yes. We log time and version.

Will my colours match my screen?

Not exactly. Screens vary. Print is more consistent. Screens produce colours in Red Green Blue, adding more colour adds light away from black. Print processes use Cyan, Magenta, Blue and black to darken away from white. The colours available with light (on screens) is wider than in the printing process so things can look duller. […]

Why does the same artwork look different on different papers?

Paper absorbs ink differently and different surfaces reflect light differently.

What paper gives the best colour pop?

Gloss or silk generally give stronger colour.

What is colour tolerance in commercial print?

Small variation is normal between runs.

Will reprints match previous runs exactly?

They’ll be very close, but never identical.

Does lamination change colour?

Yes. Gloss deepens colour, matt softens it.

What’s the best way to supply logos for colour accuracy?

Vector files in CMYK or Pantone.
